Meh.

Inevitably, change happens. And despite the best efforts of our corporate overlords to convince us otherwise, it isn't always necessarily good.

The problem with deciding whether or not change is good is that you really can't make the decision until after it's happened and you've been living in it for a while, but that's really hard to keep that in mind when you're in the middle of the change. So by default, it seems scary; something to be avoided.

In those moments, it's really, really hard to be convinced otherwise.

Facebook Killed My Blog

I think I've figured out why I haven't been blogging as much, aside from the previously mentioned reasons concerning work.

I'm blaming it on Facebook.

It's begun consuming every spare moment. Whereas in the past I'd have, perhaps, sat down and typed out a blog post or some notes, now, when I find myself at the computer, I find that my first destination is the cursed social networking tool from Hell.

The chief culprit is this new Scrabble application, which I'm playing obsessively. I hate Facebook.

Mea Culpa

So, certain people have spared no effort to let me know that I've been lax about posting, lately.

I cop fully to this heinous crime, and ask your forgiveness.

Life at The Velvet Prison has been — how to put it? — keeping me busy lately. A lot has changed over the last several months and it's kept me working late and more than a little distracted from the rest of my life.

I'll try to do better.

Of Course.

I know this shouldn't be a surprise, but Jesus H. Christ. This jug-eared asstard just wants to destroy the planet before his time runs out, doesn't he? And, God bless 'im, he's surrounded by a cadre of willing little Nazis who're just falling over themselves to do the bidding of developers.
