The Big Day

So the big day finally arrived, and I'll spare you the suspense:  We all survived, and from my perspective, it seemed to go off without a hitch.  But remember, I wasn't the bride, so one never knows.  She seemed pleased enough.

There was one snafu.  She stayed at her parents house last night, and I took her car back to Pittsburgh and stayed in her apartment.  She called me on my cell phone to tell me to bring some stuff that she'd forgotten, but I made the silly error of leaving my cell phone in the car!  Being Toni, she freaked and came to Pittsburgh to get the stuff herself.  Which, I suspect, was for the best, since it (a) made her comfortable to know that it was taken care of, and (b) spared me the freakout of checking my messages halfway to the church.

My pictures of the days events are, surprisingly, pretty lame.  I'm glad they had two photographers roaming the joint taking photos.  One was the "official" photographer, and the other was Elliot, a friend of Toni's who's studying photography; he was in charge of the candid shots.  So, for what it's worth, here are some of my less crappy shots from the day:
