A Day Off

Boy, I'm enjoying a day off today.  Our first four-show weekend was this past one, and I think we came through it relatively well.  I expected my voice to be blown, and my energy to be completely gone, but all things being equal, I don't think that I could have asked to have felt better at the end of it.

That having been said, having the two days off was wonderful.  There's something to be said for this five-day work week.  I bet that sounds funny to the people reading this who work a 9-5 job, Monday through Friday, but the theater people out there will get it.  Anyone who's self-employed, probably.

I can't believe this is almost over.  We're about to start our final week.
