Happy Paddy's Day, Peter

Happy St. Patrick's Day, webfriends. It's a little bittersweet for me, given the recent disappointing news about my Ireland trip at the end of the year.

Ah well.  One door closes, right?

So last night Kevin, Kirsten, Ken, Chris and I went to see Shockheaded Peter at the Little Schubert theater on 42nd Street.  Ken had seen it a couple of weeks ago and had loved it so much that he managed to convince the rest of us to go back with him.  The show was just a delight, if you can call the dramatization of a bunch of gory (and Gorey) German cautionary tales about ill-behaved children meeting terrible ends "a delight."

It's really amazing, and if you're in town, you definitely need to check it out!
