Anniversary!

Well, my parents are celebrating their fifty-third wedding anniversary today.  I talked to my mom, and it turns out my brother Ron made a surprise appearence in Pittsburgh today.  She was very thrilled.  That man drove all the way from some god-forsaken church in Wisconsin and showed up unannounced!  I think that's pretty cool of him, 'cuz she hadn't seen him for, probably, a year.  How cool is that?

Kudos to you, Ron.  And happy anniversary to my Mom & Dad!


I was crawling into bed tonight and turned on the TV to sorta have some white noise as I finished off this entry and dropped off to sleep.  And on Channel 13, Charlie Rose (the best interviewer on TV, as opposed to Terri Gross, the best interviewer on radio) was interviewing the cast of Confidence.  Aside from the fact that it reinforced my desire to see this movie, can I just say that Edward Burns is seventeen different kinds of hot?

Boy, he cleans up nice.  Damn him for being straight!

Just felt the need to say that.




I think I told you that Ken Bolden, the Lagemæ, and I went to the movies, but did I tell you that we hung out at the Bull Moose Saloon for dinner?  It was a night of some of the worst photographs I have ever (and I mean ever) taken.
