The Second-Most Hideous

I had the second most hideous ever weather-related delay at Laguardia airport last night. My flight to Pittsburgh was delayed from 7:50 to 9:30 p.m. - très ennuyant.

More so for Amy Hartman, of course, who had to come out to the airport and get me, but annoying nonetheless.

Just another victim of the awful windstorms that have troubled the whole east coast this week. Damn that Canadian air!

So I'm back in Pittsburgh for the long weekend, and the long-awaited reading of Amy's play, Chicken Snake.  I'm very excited on Amy's behalf. She's managed to put together a cast about which she's really excited, and I think the play is great.  Sorta a cross between Nicky Silver and William Faulkner -- poetic and whacked out at the same time.

I have a lot to do this weekend! So many people to see and catch up with. I'm exhausted already.
