So one of my favorite internet sites in the whole world is Project Gutenberg, and I was browsing the site the other day on a mission for my fellow Tartuffians, hoping to find a translation of Moliere's The Would-Be Gentleman that we could read together, and after achieving success, I stumbled across The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci, which I find absolutely fascinating. He starts his notebooks thus:
I just find it remarkable to think that someone like da Vinci - quite possibly the most remarkable man in human history - should actually think, "All the important stuff has been said. So I'll work with the leavings."
No one is ever allowed to give me shit about feeling uninspired again.
