Snoozing

Kenny Bolden and I were riding the subway not long ago and came across this woman who was just snoring away, and he nudged me and said, "Oh, if only we had a camera."  Of course, I did.  So I surreptitiously pulled it out and snapped a photo of her.  Of course, with the low light, the moving train, and the fact that I wasn't using a flash so as not to wake her (and call attention to us, thus bringing her wrath down upon us for taking unauthorized photos), it didn't turn out as well as I'd have liked.  But let this be a warning to you:  You just never know when some jackass is going to get a picture of you sleeping.

I've just been hit by a rather depressing thought.  I've got another weekend to get through before I get paid again, so money is going to be really tight for the next week.  This is one of those rare occasions when I have to go three full weekends between paychecks... not a thing I love to do, god help me.
