Not long ago I was walking down the steps to the subway platform at Bergen Street, and I looked up to see that someone had pasted a bumper sticker on the wall that read "northflatbush.org."
So the next time I was in front of a computer, I looked this website and it was really very cool. One of the most cool things about it was the stash of pictures of my neighborhood circa 1914! It's great! Below is my favorite... see if you recognize it from the picture next to it. The one on the left was taken in 1914.
What a difference ninety years makes, huh?
