When Worlds Collide

So one of the things I'm finding is that I'm caught midway between the "get up early" mode of working a nine-to-five job each day, and the "stay up late" world of working in the theater.  I come home from the show each night and -- typically of my past experience in the theater -- it takes a while to wind down after the excitement of being on stage.

So lately, I'm going to bed at 3 a.m., and waking up promptly at 7 a.m.  It's a bit of a killer.

These two worlds really don't mix all that well.  In the long run, I imagine it's probably a good idea that Sandy Arnold did let me take the leave to do Stones. If she had, I'd likely have been useless and out of whack for my first two weeks back.  That  wouldn't have gone over so well.
